AI Jest Daily is taking a break…
Wow! 500 issues.
Not too shabby, if I do say so myself (which I just did).
It’s been a fun ride, but I think the “Can AI be funny?” experiment has run its course with the currently available models.
I am hereby pausing the daily cartoons.
They might return later, when we either:
Get a new, upgraded large language model (GPT-5?).
Get a new, upgraded image model that’s better at prompt following and text.
Or both.
In the meantime, I still post about AI twice a week here:

500 is a lot! I guess we are kind of on parallel tracks with our daily writing practices, so I'll miss being snarky over here every single day. Dang! There goes a snark vacuum.
Side note: I also enjoyed this experiment, and feel like it was a really fun group effort that you spearheaded. Nicely done!
